About Me

I am the Assistant Director of Learning Design at NYU's McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research. I work with a team to design and produce learner-centered asynchronous and hybrid trainings for thousands of social workers, psychologists and Family and Youth Peer Advocates in New York State.

Prior to joining McSilver, I designed and delivered both in-person and online training for a variety of nonprofit and educational institutions, including Project ABLE, The Teaching Kitchen at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, and the Association of College and University Educators. I also served as a founding teacher with CUNY START – CUNY’s nationally acclaimed college transition program – where I helped develop teacher training programs, and expand CUNY Start to thousands of students on eight campuses.

My areas of interest include educational equity, student-centered teaching, transformational learning, social-emotional learning, Universal Design for Learning, and user experience research.
